Day 1 (Tuesday): Arrival to Denmark
On arrival to Kastrup Airport in Copenhagen, you are met and transferred to your centrally located hotel. After settling in, take some time to relax or do some light exploring around the neighbourhood. In the early evening, you’ll get to meet your tour escort and fellow travellers at a casual get-together, where you’ll also receive helpful information about the upcoming tour schedule.
Spend the night at First Hotel Skt. Petri (or similar) in the centre of Copenhagen.

Day 2 (Wednesday) : The Sights of Copenhagen
Enjoy a breakfast buffet at the hotel followed by a 3-hour guided tour of the city. Among the famous sights are the elegant Amalienborg Palace and Christiansborg Palace, the myth-inspired Gefion Fountain, the colourful Nyhavn waterfront and, of course, Copenhagen’s most iconic symbol—the Little Mermaid. The rest of the afternoon and evening is free for you to explore this fairytale city at your leisure.

Day 3 (Thursday): Overnight Cruise to Oslo
Enjoy the morning as you wish in Copenhagen. If you’d like sightseeing suggestions, your knowledgeable tour escort is at your service to recommend various points of interest. You may also be interested in an optional morning tour to the three castles in North Zealand, including the Kronborg Castle of Hamlet. In the afternoon, we will transfer by coach from hotel to the DFDS Seaways terminal for an overnight cruise to Oslo, departing at 17.00. Later, enjoy a genuine Scandinavian smörgåsbord dinner as the ship sails up the straight of Kattegat.
Spend the night in a 2-berth outside cabin with en suite shower and WC.
Note: We strongly recommend bringing an overnight bag for this cruise in order to avoid having to carry your suitcases to and from the cabin.

Day 4 (Friday): Oslo Sightseeing
Enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet with a view as you cruise along the enchanting Oslo Fjord. After arriving to Oslo around 9.30 in the morning, take in the sights of Norway’s historic capital with a 3-hour guided sightseeing tour. Attractions include the world-famous Viking Ship Museum and the impressive Vigeland Sculpture Park. After the tour, the rest of the afternoon and evening is free for exploring Oslo as you wish.
Spend the night at Clarion Hotel Royal Christiania (or similar) in the heart of Oslo.

Day 5 (Saturday): Free Day in Oslo
This day is entirely up to you! There are plenty of popular attractions all within walking distance of your hotel, and your tour escort will be more than happy to point you in the direction of some interesting sights. We recommend visiting the bustling Aker Brygge harbour area and the Akershus Fortress or taking a stroll along Bogstadveien, Oslo’s cosmopolitan shopping street.

Day 6 (Sunday): Hardangerfjord & Lofthus
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before we depart from Oslo. After a stop at the mountain resort of Geilo, the tour continues along the rugged mountainous plateau of Hardanger and Vøringfossen, an exotic waterfall with a vertical drop of over 180 metres. Finally, we descend into the lovely valley of Hardangerfjord, the second largest fjord in Norway, as we make our way to our destination at Lofthus, where we will enjoy dinner together.

Day 7 (Monday): Railway Journey & Balestrand
We start the day with short ferry trip followed by a scenic train journey from Voss to Flåm via the famous Flåm Railway, offering fantastic views from its steep track. On arrival to Flåm, we embark on a picturesque 2-hour voyage along Aurlands, Naerøy and Sognefjord, the “king of fjords”. Afterwards, enjoy a breathtaking ascent of the Stalheim canyon, with impressive views of the peaks and waterfalls of the Naerøy valley. The tour then continues by coach over the Vika mountains to Vangsnes followed by a short ferry crossing over the Sognefjord to the charming village of Balestrand, where we can look forward to a wonderful dinner.

Day 8 (Tuesday): Glaciers & Loen
After breakfast at the hotel in Balestrand, we head to Fjaerland for a visit to the Glacier Museum. Continuing along the scenic route, we pass by the Jostedal glacier (the largest in continental Europe) and the village of Skei before descending into the beautiful Nordfjord valley. At Olden, we make a short detour for an exciting “troll car” journey up to the to the world-famous Briksdal glacier. After taking in the stunning views the tour continues to Loen, our destination for the evening.

Day 9 (Wednesday): Scenic Road to Bergen
Today we head out again along the scenic road around Nordfjord and Skei towards the historic city of Bergen, Norway’s second largest city and major cultural centre. After a stop for lunch in the charming town of Førde the tour continues with a short ferry crossing from Lavik to Oppedal. On arrival to Bergen, the evening is free for you to explore this beautiful city surrounded by seven mountains.

Day 10 (Thursday): Historic Bergen
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before a guided sightseeing tour of Bergen with your tour escort. The highlight of this tour is Bryggen, a colourful old wharf inscribed to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1979 for its significance as a major Hanseatic trading centre and site of some of northern Europe’s best-preserved medieval buildings. We also visit the bustling Fish Market, the ancient Maria Church and other famous attractions. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 11 (Friday): Flight to Stockholm
After breakfast, we transfer by coach to the international airport outside Bergen for a short flight to Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. On arrival to Arlanda International Airport in Stockholm, transportation is provided to our hotel in the heart of the city. Once you’ve had a chance to settle in, use the rest of the evening to explore this dazzling capital city as you wish and enjoy a delicious dinner from its wide array of gourmet restaurants.

Day 12 (Saturday): Sightseeing in Stockholm
The day begins with a 3-hour guided sightseeing tour of the city, with such famous sights as the Royal Palace, the Parliament buildings, the old Stockholm Cathedral, the Royal Theatre and much more. We also take a leisurely stroll through the Old Town (Gamla Stan) with its narrow cobbled streets and numerous antique shops. The highlight of the tour is a visit to City Hall with its famous Blue and Golden Halls, site of the Nobel Prize banquet each year. The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure.

Day 13 (Sunday): Stockholm at Your Leisure
Spend the day exploring Stockholm as you wish. From your centrally located hotel you will find a number of interesting attractions within easy reach, and your tour escort will be available to help you book optional day tours or to suggest some sights not covered on yesterday’s tour. We recommend visiting the famous Vasa Ship Museum or taking in the sights from one of the popular canal tours. Later in the evening, we will gather for one final group dinner.

Day 14 (Monday): Overnight Cruise to Helsinki
Enjoy the morning as you wish in Stockholm. At approximately 15.00 we will transfer by coach from the hotel to the pier, where we embark on an overnight Silja Line cruise to Helsinki. As the ship sails out of the harbour you’ll have great views of the multiple small islands that make up the vast Stockholm Archipelago. Later, enjoy dinner on board followed by your choice of entertainment, including bars, duty-free shops, casino games and more.
Spend the night in a 2-berth outside cabin with en suite shower and WC.Note: We strongly recommend bringing an overnight bag for this cruise in order to avoid having to carry your suitcases to and from the cabin.

Day 15 (Tuesday): Helsinki Sightseeing

Attractions the Senate Square, Uspenski Cathedral, Parliament House, Finlandia Hall, Sibelius Park & Monument, Church in the Rock and more. Afterwards, the rest of the afternoon and evening is free for exploring Helsinki as you wish.

Day 16 (Wednesday): Departure
When it’s time to say farewell to your Scandinavian adventures and fellow travellers, you are transferred from the hotel to Helsinki’s Vantaa Airport for your journey back home. If your flight is in the afternoon, you can use the opportunity to explore the amazing Old Town (the Arabianranta area), do some last minute shopping, visit a museum or just wind down at a local café with some traditional Finnish pastries.

• Tours are conducted in English and Spanish.
• Itinerary and times are subject to changes without prior notice.
• Unaccompanied minors under 15 years of age or any children younger than 4 years of age will not be accepted on this tour.
• Note: Hotels may also be changed if necessary though alternates will always be of the same standard and category.
• For tours with less than 10 passengers, no tour escort will accompany the group to Helsinki. Instead passengers will be assisted with transfers and sightseeing by a local guide. For tours with 10 or more passengers, the tour escort will accompany the group until after the city tour in Helsinki on Day 15.
• The tour operator reserves the right to cancel a tour up until 30 days prior to the date of departure, granting a full refund of the money paid for the tour but no additional compensation.
SPECIAL INFORMATION REGARDING THIS TOUR
Payment
A deposit of 25% is required for this tour. The balance will be due no later than 7 weeks prior to departure.
Luggage Restrictions
Due to limited space on the bus, luggage per person is limited to 1 piece of luggage of normal size (max 60 x 80 x 35 cm or max 23.5 x 31.5 x 13.8 inches). The piece of luggage shall not exceed 20 kilos (44 lbs) in weight. An excess baggage fee of EUR 126 will be charged for overweight bags and for each additional piece of luggage. Carry-on flight bags are permitted but must remain in the passengers possession at all times.
For the flight from Oslo to Stockholm an extra bag may be carried on (max 20kg) for a fee of EUR 144 (not refundable, subject to confirmation, excludes hand luggage).
Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation fees apply to this tour as follows:
• Up to 35 days prior to departure: a cancellation fee of 20% of the total amount shall be charged.
• 20-34 days prior to departure: a cancellation fee of 30% of the total amount shall be charged.
• 7-19 days prior to departure: a cancellation fee of 60% of the total amount shall be charged.
• Within 6 days of departure (or no-show): no refund shall be issued.
All cancellation requests must be received to Nordic Visitor in writing, preferably by fax or email. Airline cancellation fees are also applicable in addition to the tour cancellation fees.
If illness or other unforeseen events make it necessary for a tour participant to withdraw from a tour after arrival, a refund shall be issued for the unused portion of the tour less a cancellation expense of 500 EUR per person. No refund can be issued for less than 3 consecutive days of absence from the tour. As the costs of the tour are based on group travel, please note that no refund can be issued for unused services such as sightseeing tours or transportation by bus, trains or ferries.

After booking your package with Nordic Visitor, you will be contacted within two working days by one of our travel consultants, who will serve as your dedicated contact person for all of your travel needs before, during and even after your holiday. Your travel consultant will provide you with details about your booking and your remaining payment (if not paid in full). You will also receive more information about what to expect during your holiday.
